Job Title: Service Technician

Reports to: Lead Site Supervisor

Learning period: 90-days

Essential Duties

• Field Service Technician: Maintenance, repair, fueling of Service Customer generators and compressors.
• Preventative maintenance, load bank, and field repairs of 10kW–320kW generators.
• Generator Controls: H Panel, Voltage Regulator.
• Transfer Switch: Diagnostic/repair on all brands.
• Field Service Technician assists Senior Service Technicians with field service repairs.
• Delivery, pick-up, and set-up of generators, light towers, cable and accessories.
• Working knowledge of D/C and A/C electrical systems
• Working knowledge of Diesel, Natural Gas, LP Vapor engine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Load bank and NFPA110/Life Safety
• Regular consistent attendance

Training/Certifications:

• 3-year experience or equivalent in Field Service Technician generator industry.

Safety Training:

• OSHA 10

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently in the field as Field Service Technician.
• Be able to communicate (in English) verbally and in writing,
• Knowledge of load banks, NFPA 110/ Life Safety
• Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record.
• Consistent attendance.
• Ability to work after hours
• US citizenship or authorized to work in US
• High School Diploma, preferred, or GED
• Ability to pass Background check, Physical and Drug screen
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
