Job Description:
- TWO MONTH CONTRACT
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and has hands-on experience with material handling and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, count, and verify incoming stock items using manual methods or computer systems
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse (Forklift experience is required)
- Pack and unpack stock to be shelved or stored
- Compare physical inventory to records and investigate discrepancies
- Store materials in an organized, accessible manner
- Label stock using tags, stamps, or marking tools
- Clean and maintain warehouse equipment and storage areas to ensure safety compliance
- Track and report stock usage and equipment damage
- Inspect items for wear or defects and report issues to supervisors
- Assist and direct other warehouse or stockroom personnel
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
- 0–2 years of warehouse or general labor experience
- Forklift operation experience is mandatory
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures
Certifications & Licenses:
- None required
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Weekends as needed
