Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. This role involves the repair, calibration, conversion, and field service of mechanical tools and equipment. The technician will also assist with training, toolbox fabrication, inventory, and support services. Travel to client locations (domestic and offshore) is required up to 40% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair & Calibration:
- Inspect and repair mechanical tools both in the shop and field
- Perform in-house calibration of equipment
Field Service:
- Travel to customer sites to operate tooling and provide technical support
Technical Documentation:
- Record repair details and parts used through internal systems
- Maintain service reports
Toolbox Fabrication:
- Prepare, modify, and label toolboxes for equipment kits
Exhibition Support:
- Assist with packing and unpacking trade show booths and materials
Inventory Management:
- Track inventory usage for repairs and assist with physical inventory counts
Customer Support:
- Answer phones and provide technical assistance as needed
Training & Demonstration:
- Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations at customer locations
Product Conversion:
- Perform product conversions as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant technician experience
- Proficiency with MS Office and mechanical tools
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles when traveling
- Must maintain a professional appearance and work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Experience or familiarity with:
- Wind turbine tools
- Automotive/mechanical repair
- Field service operations
- Trade show setup and equipment demonstration
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.62 - $24.37 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
