What you will do
Scheduling & Coordination:
- Develop, manage, and update nursing schedules based on patient needs, staff availability, and compliance guidelines.
- Address, last-minute call-offs, schedule changes, and staffing shortages while maintaining coverages for all clients.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and agency policies when scheduling staff.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, patients, and families to confirm schedules, changes, and cancellations.
- Track and manage the recertification process for Plan of Cares to ensure continuity of care.
- Conduct initial interviews with prospective nurses to assess qualifications and availability and facilitate the onboarding process, including collecting necessary credentials and documentation.
