Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Foreman to join our residential team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety while performing various tasks related to concrete construction. This role involves working on-site, managing other laborers and finishers, and contributing to the successful completion of concrete projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the demolition, preparation, pouring and finishing of concrete for various projects, including driveways, slabs, patios, steps, walkways and stamped concrete.
- Operate equipment (skid steer) and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accuracy in measurements, grade drainage and placements.
- Perform site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment and customer satisfaction.
- Manage team members and finishers to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Communicate and review projects with customer for approval.
- Drive company truck and trailer daily to site, ensuring each morning it is loaded with proper job supplies, equipment and tools.
- Understanding of saw cut and or relief cut layouts and execution.
Requirements
- Previous experience running a concrete crew is required.
- Must have experience working in/around "live in" homes with finished yards.
- Clean driving record.
- Past references preferred to validate work ethic and dependability.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications effectively.
- Capability to measure and manage concrete orders and yardage.
- Able to establish a daily timeline of prepping and pouring concrete.
- Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy materials, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration on-site.
