Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Loader Operator to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials, ensuring that all operations comply with safety regulations and company standards. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining productivity in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Operate loading equipment such as forklifts and loaders to move materials within the distribution center.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill shipping requirements accurately.
- Handle heavy lifting of products, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inspecting material and baling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare orders for transportation.
Skills
- Proficient in operating loaders and other material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of order picking processes within a distribution center.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving protocols.
- Baling recyclable materials
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing recycable materials
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
