Job Requirements :
- Valid Driver's License
- OSHA 10 preferred but will certify, if necessary, upon hire
- Experience of 2 -5 years
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, schedules, and other construction documents
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Project Engineer that will collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Collaborates with the Warehouse & Dispatch manager to ensure that there is proper staffing at scheduled and emergency service projects.Essential Job Functions Supervises daily production and costs for major work items by ensuring production, cost data and safety are collected from prior day.Overseeing and reviewing field inspector reports, tracking project issues, attending project meetings, and recording meeting minutes.Responsible for accurately preparing and analyzing daily cost reports to be reviewed with supervisors for purposes of comparison analysis and planning.Manages the flow of documents between internal and external partners, prepare project reports for the office, and helping to coordinate the office's participation in engineering and construction projects.Manages, coordinates, and schedules subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers.Develops and maintains a good working relationship with clients, subcontractors, vendors, landowners, co-workers, etc. to strengthen company position.Represents the company in a professional manner, and documents conversations with subcontractors, vendors, etc.Preparing estimate requests, verifying extra work billings, managing service contracts and purchasing, and assisting with contract change ordersResponsible for accuracy of all office operations including timecards and new hire administration.Collaborates with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.Project Engineer Qualifications / Skills
