What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Appraiser position at GenConnect Recruiting and Consulting?
We are looking for someone to join a company's evolving and growing team as a Loan Specialist. In this position, you will work closely with the Credit Department and report to Term Solutions Vice President of Credit & Underwriting. This position will assist in the review of due diligence material for credit approvals and the servicing of existing clients.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:
· Reviews and analyzes lending opportunities to determine the appropriate due diligence necessary to document the loan. This includes credit reports, lien & judgment searches, and legal research & documentation.
· Prepares and reviews loan documentation verification checklists. Arranges and sets up files and directories for transactions.
· Prepares preliminary legal transaction documents for credit and legal review.
· Manages loan collateral including recording of title liens & UCC filings (liens, amendments, terminations, etc.) and asset lists.
· Reviews and analyzes existing loan files to ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are accurate and complete. Requests and compiles information from clients, as necessary.
· Responsible for maintaining accurate information in CRM Dynamics system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelors degree from accredited institution.
· Paralegal experience a plus.
· Experience with UCC filings, managing vehicle titles, and legal research a strong plus.
· Up to and including five years experience in documenting and closing of asset-based and/or commercial loans.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to comprehend and analyze legal loan documentation.
· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook preferred.
· Proficiency with Dynamics 365.
