Gendron & Gendron is currently looking to hire Paving Crew Wheelmen for the 2025 season and beyond.
Paving Crew Wheelmen will be required to perform multiple tasks which include but are not limited to running the wheel on the back end of the paver to ensure a smooth quality finish that is within specification for ride and thickness. In addition, understanding and following company/OSHA safety requirements, working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, taking direction from supervisors and continuing to learn the many different tasks that are required on a day- to-day basis.
There is no prior experience needed for this position. We are willing to train the right applicant that is willing to learn. Prior experience is however welcome and preferred.
The Paving Crew Wheelman position is a full-time position which will require working in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold etc.) This is an hourly paid position which offers competitive pay based on an average 50-hour work week. If night work is required, crew members will receive additional pay for each night worked.
