Gene Cook Supports, LLC. is seeking an LPN/RN Nursing Staff to work with our client in Highland Park, Pittsburgh during the day every Friday.
The primary functions of the Nursing Staff are:
· Provide individualized care to client's with developmental disabilities in their homes as needed
· Collect and interpret data and communicate client progress/needs
· Must possess a current LPN or RN license with trach/vent certifications and experience
· Attend meetings as needed
· Develop strategies to support the individual based upon assessment
· Provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities in residences, family homes, and community settings and ensure safety in the home and community
· Review case monthly and complete documentation
· All other duties as assigned
To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required:
· Services will be in home setting & must have experience with this setting for 1 year minimum.
· Current LPN or RN license with at least 2 years working experience
· Must have trach/vent certifications/experience
· Must complete orientation/staff training.
· Formal or informal experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferable.
· Background checks (criminal history, child abuse, FBI).
· Must be 18 years of age or older
