We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill Cell Culture and Tissue Culture Associate position.
Job Responsibilities:
perform daily laboratory tasks in the Cell and Tissue Culture. Key responsibilities include:
- Using aseptic technique to perform laboratory activities necessary for cell culture.
- Maintaining, feeding, passaging, harvesting and cryopreservation of host cell lines.
- Screening and testing of mammalian cell lines for cell line engineering or cell-based assays.
- Conducting viral particle packaging for research projects or custom service projects.
- Preparing cell and tissue culture media and other materials used in cell culture and related projects.
- Entering experimental data and production records into lab notebook and production database.
- Following, writing, and updating SOPs.
- Operating and maintaining lab equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes , flow cytometry, and incubators.
- Monitoring temperature and calibration status of critical equipment.
- Monitoring and ordering supplies or labware when levels drop below critical levels.
- Maintaining logs and performing general lab cleaning to keep lab in good working order.
- Performing all other related duties as assigned.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in Biology or related discipline.
- 2 year or more related experience in a biological laboratory. Aseptic technique and cell culture experience are preferred.
- Pharmaceutical and biotech industrial experience is preferred.
- Ability to use scientific equipment including microscopes, flow cytometry, laminar flow biological safety cabinet, and centrifuges.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs.
- Math skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with databases.
- Organizational, recordkeeping, filing, and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, team oriented, and the ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, professional demeanor, responsible, and the ability to “get the job done”.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
