Come be a part of the amazing team in Prairieville, Louisiana. We are looking for a Generator Technician to conduct service and maintenance to generators in the surrounding area.
This company is locally owned and operated, with experienced and factory-trained technicians who are committed to each customer. Licensed in electrical and mechanical contracting, our team offers turn-key installations, periodic maintenance, services, and warranty repairs on Generac generators for our clients.
What you’ll do:
- Service and repair generators: change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
- Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting for customers generators (includes DC & AC Voltage equipment)
- Work independently or with a small team and company vehicle servicing residential and commercial standby generators
- Involves multiple appointments per day in regular contact with homeowners
What you’ll bring:
- 3 years of experience in a mechanical setting working on automobiles, small engines, or generators.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Technical knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft 365.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside.
