We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Web Experience and Digital Commerce to lead our online presence and digital commerce initiatives. This role will oversee product management, site merchandising and content, user experience, and UX design. This role will drive development of a comprehensive digital commerce strategy that enhances customer engagement, drives revenue growth, and strengthens our brand in the digital space.
The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of digital product development, site merchandising, user centered experiences, and digital commerce best practices. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, engaging, and high-performing best in class digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute a forward-thinking best in class web experience and digital commerce strategy aligned with business goals.
Build a Vision for how our consumers can engage, learn about, and consider both complex dealer installed and DTC products
Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, including product managers, site content and merchandisers UX designers, and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Lead our virtual consultation strategy to bring consumer education and advisory capability into our digital channels.
Build a strategy to engage consumers with a connected ecosystem of products, merchandise the services and connected digital tools that bring the ecosystem to life
Product Management
Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for web and commerce platforms, from ideation to launch and optimization.
Define and prioritize product and experience roadmaps, balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
Leverage analytics and market insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
User Experience (UX)
Champion user-centered design principles to deliver intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences.
Conduct usability testing and gather customer feedback to continuously improve website and e-commerce functionality.
Ensure that all digital touchpoints reflect the brand’s identity and meet industry standards for design and usability.
Digital Commerce Operations
Optimize the performance of the website as a channel, driving visitation and conversion
Implement and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient e-commerce technologies.
Collaborate with marketing, IT, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of digital campaigns and backend systems.
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, translating data into actionable insights.
Provide regular updates on digital initiatives, performance, and ROI to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
8 years of experience in digital product management, site merchandising, digital experience or e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Skills & Competencies
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital strategies.
Expertise in digital customer experience
Demonstrated understanding of site merchandising and web consideration journey
Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, tools, and emerging trends.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to drive decisions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
