Come join our team at Electric Doctor in Bettendorf, IA! We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Small Project Specialist to oversee generator-specific projects and provide an exceptional client care experience. This role involves managing installations, coordinating with utility companies, subcontractors, and local inspection authorities, and maintaining efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
What you’ll do:
- Manage generator installation and service projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion
- Handle customer interactions, including incoming calls and scheduling electric service calls, commercial/industrial electrical requests and sales request with a focus on delivering an outstanding first impression
- Collaborate with subcontractors, utilities, local inspection authorities, and utility companies to meet project requirements and resolve any issues
- Monitor project progress, address challenges, and maintain accurate documentation of timelines, budgets, and service records
- Ensure technicians meet service call targets, follow up on Club Membership services, and uphold company values in every interaction
What you’ll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience within project management, contracting, or logistics
- Proven experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or utility trade is preferred
- Familiarity with utility underground locates, subcontracting, and inspection processes is a plus
- Technologically inclined – proficient with computer programs that include, but are not limited to: scheduling, dispatch, spreadsheet, and permitting software
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
