This individual will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and process improvement across our manufacturing or distribution facilities. The Continuous Improvement Engineer III will lead the implementation of strategic plans to optimize value streams, eliminate waste, and enhance efficiency using the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS).
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans to improve value streams, focusing on efficiency gains and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve complex process issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement, sharing best practices and external benchmarks to drive growth and innovation.
- Coach and mentor colleagues in lean principles, empowering them to develop and implement sustainable improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean engineering, or a related field
