The Advanced Programs Engineering team seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to conceptualize innovative solutions to complex engineering problems, representing the company through technical presentations and papers.
This position influences the attraction and retention of engineering business and professional staff, anticipating and reporting on future engineering challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conceptualize and articulate innovative resolutions to highly technical and complex engineering problems.
Interact with senior internal and external personnel on technical matters requiring coordination between organizations.
Provide leadership, direction, and guidance for developing solutions to engineering problems.
Advises or directs the planning for the implementation of engineering solutions, including strategic objectives and timetables.
Participate in or direct the allocation of technical resources and professional staff to achieve objectives.
Prepare status/progress reports and ensure compliance, reporting, and safety standards are maintained.
Represent the technical capabilities of the organization to national and international audiences.
Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution, along with progressive engineering experience.
Candidates should have demonstrated leadership and creativity in directing/developing solutions to highly technical and complex engineering problems.
Preferrably, candidates will have military operational knowledge across multiple services, experience leading teams, and familiarity with electronic warfare principles and operations analysis tools.
