Description
We are looking for temporary design and production position. The time frame is approximately from the end of February through March. This position requires the ability to design eye-catching and engaging point-of-sale products for a multitude of beverage brands and statewide accounts. This individual must be able to adhere to brand standards and department deadlines. This is a design and production position.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years Graphic Design education/training preferred or equivalent professional work experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Print production experience.
- Understanding color, composition, and typography.
- Ability to swiftly and accurately produce designs.
- Communication and time management skills.
- Acrobat and Outlook experience a plus.
- Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to prepare files for print production or end-user purposes.
- Work with a design team to complete various tasks such as implementing changes and revisions.
- Adhere to established production quality and brand standards including fonts, logos, and colors.
- Manage electronic files including proper set up, naming conventions, saving, and archiving.
- Create PDFs and other files that meet proper print specifications and prepare files for publishing.
- Design and communicate using Outlook, Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop (PC platform).
- Utilize a variety of production equipment such as a laminator, vertical cutter, grommet press, large format applicator squeegees, electric cutter, and various other products.
- Apply adhesive vinyl to corrugated plastic.
- Cut and trim in large format substrate.
- Package products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
