Description:
This position facilitates receiving, warehousing, and distribution functions of the company
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Adheres to company quality and freshness standards in inventory and loading practices
- Receive incoming orders and process to assigned warehouse locations
- Promptly prepares all required reports
- Operates company equipment safely and in accordance with OSHA and company guidelines
- Reports for work on time and appropriately dressed
- Receiving and shipping of products, equipment, merchandise, and supplies
- Maintain a clean warehouse environment
- Files breakage reports in a timely and efficient manner
- Restocks roller racking and prepares the warehouse for the night crew
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Skills certification to operate warehouse product handling equipment (forkilifts) in compliance with all safety regulations and operate them accordingly
- Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per day
- Must be able to crawl, reach, twist, and bend
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide at a high school equivalency level
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with Class A B C CDL certification preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and lift test
