Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines and other production equipment according to established protocols.
- Perform CAM programming to optimize machine performance and production efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for accurate measurements and assembly.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Employ precision measuring instruments to verify product dimensions and quality standards.
- Maintain tooling and equipment in good working condition, performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient material handling and inventory management.
- Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAM programming and CNC operation.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles for accurate product specifications.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and adjustments.
- Experience with tooling setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
