General Coatings Corporation one of the largest coating companies in SoCal providing commercial painting, wallcovering, sheet metal, waterproofing and deck coating is seeking an experience Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in the Carlsbad office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, cost control, and project management. If you have a passion for delivering accurate estimates and ensuring projects are completed within budget, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the estimating process for our painting and waterproofing projects from start to finish
• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to budget constraints
• Provide guidance on pricing strategies and value engineering opportunities
