Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bid Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to support our project management and bidding process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks and a keen understanding of construction bid coordination. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and coordinating construction bid proposals.
  • Maintain and update bid documents, project schedules, and subcontractor databases.
  • Provide administrative support to the project management team.
  • Organize and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Monitor bid deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals.
  • Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing emails, filing documents, and printing blueprints.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a bid coordination role or estimating department in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology and processes.

Salary : $42,000 - $52,000
