Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with office manager and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review project paperwork while on site to ensure all specifications are accounted for and completed accordingly.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders involved in the project.
- Manage project changes and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Physically assist in a variety of trade work including: demolition, framing, drywall hanging, deliveries, and trim and cabinetry installation.
- Ability to lead a team of 3-4 and coordinate weekly schedules with the office manager.
- Conduct site walkthroughs following subcontractor trade completion to assess workmanship and documents any needed changes or corrections.
