We are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our team. To succeed in this role, the candidate must be extremely organized, self-motivated, ambitious, possess strong time management skills, pay attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines. We are looking for a self- starter who can work independently as well as a member of project teams.
Job Responsibilities
The Project Administrator is responsible for managing contracts, change orders, purchase orders, closeouts, and other administrative tasks. This position is also responsible for contract billing.
· Set up new projects
· Ensure all legal, insurance, and bonding requirements are met prior to contract execution
· Maintain contract log and filing system
· Work with project managers to generate contract packages
· Ensure contractor licenses are current
· Procurement and review of Certificates of Insurance
· Process subcontractor billing
· Submit contract billing to clients
· Manage a variety of competing tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines
Job Requirements
· Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and flexible
· Two years of experience in some construction position is highly preferred
· Must be PC proficient with Microsoft Office programs
· Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
· Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
