HOW A DRIVER COURIER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Maintaining good communication with the team
• Pace of work will vary day to day depending on requirements
• Operate on a large team of 70 drivers to transport personnel, utilizing a variety of cars, vans and / or coach buses safely and successfully
• Very fast paced office and receives 80 requests for chauffeur services per day
• Daily requests will come from the dispatch team and the MVO will execute the requests in a timely and professional manner
• MVO is expected to safely operate all vehicle types in the fleet, including sedans, SUVs, mini-vans, passenger vans, and charter buses
• MVO will verbally acknowledge driving assignments, verify passengers, and communicates with dispatch any pertinent updates relating to the execution of driver assignments
• MVO will analyze each driver assignment to verify passenger count, locations, routes, and vehicle needs prior to executing any assignment
• MVO may be asked to provide unscheduled / emergency transportation support for senior leaders of the Sponsor Organization
• MVO will be expected to sit for long periods of time while conducting the operation of motor vehicles and will occasionally stand while maintaining the cleanliness of the motor vehicle and while conducting pre and post assignment visual inspections
• Travel in support of Customer requirements to other buildings within and outside of the WMA is expected, including occasional overnight trips
• MVO will maintain a Sponsor-issued cellphone and must ensure that the cellphone remains in operating condition during core hours and / or while on assignment
• MVO will utilize a tablet to annotate start / stop times, track movements and provide real-time metrics regarding driver assignments
• MVO will wear a uniform, provided by this office, and will adhere to the policies

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Education : High School Diploma / GED

Required Experience : 1 years of related experience

Security Clearance Level : Secret

Required Skills and Abilities : Maintaining clean driving record

Preferred Skills : Using road navigation

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $27.20 - $36.80. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
