Job Description:

 

The Enterprise Business Intelligence Support Senior/Specialist is critical to the growth and sustainability of the Enterprise Business Intelligence Program. This role will primarily manage intake and tracking of BI software requests, report on license management, ensure compliance with BI policies, support internal audits, and manage the centralized content curated for the BI community ensuring the BI user groups and development teams are up to date on policy, best practices and tool capabilities. This role will support the BI Program with additional duties as assigned.

 

This individual will be detailed-oriented and organized and this work will require an in-depth understanding of Business Intelligence tools, processes, and policies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Assist EB Enterprise BI Lead with operational tasks: 

  • Assist with setup and maintenance of BI role assignment and content permissions
  • Implement operational workflows
  • Support data model governance
  • Create, coordinate, and conduct BI trainings
  • Contribute to process and policy creation
  • Facilitate and support BI questions

Assist EB Enterprise BI Lead with program implementation task:

  • BI software install intake management 
  • BI community content management and maintain BI SharePoint site for communications, wiki, report intake requests, etc
  • Support internal audits for BI Content Mangers activities across all Spokes (appropriate taxonomy / managing ROT (Redundant, Outdated, and Trivial content))
  • BI Program shared email account management
  • Monitor license Power BI usage
  • Manage 3rd Party Visuals Library

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 4 years of experience in an administrative or support role within a BI or technology environment (senior or above experience)
  • 4 years of experience in BI concepts and tools (e.g. data warehousing, reporting, dashboards)

Preferred:

  • Experience with technical workflow and project management tools (i.e. Service Now, JIRA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Power BI, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Familiarity of SharePoint architecture with experience as a SharePoint site administrator or developer
  • Strong data literacy and ability to understand, interpret and use data
  • Detailed-oriented with effective processes management, streamlining administrative tasks.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to users of various skill levels and backgrounds
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills (customer-facing and internal)
