Responsibilities:
- Work with the Material Control Manager and Material Control Chief to develop and maintain metrics for all areas
- Skill oversight will be to provide daily/weekly/monthly reports and metrics
- Extract, chart, trend data from Business Objects as needed
- Responsible for project management
- Strongly interface with Purchasing, Program Office and the Operations
- Facilitate the generation of new metrics and data requests and input data into pivot tables
- This individual must be energetic and have problem solving capabilities to develop, manage, and modify material control reports and database using applicable coding and charting requirements, such as sql, calculation functions, pivot tables, graphing etc.
- Individual will be responsible for maintaining metric billboards and will provide reporting data to upper management as needed, as well as write and formulate Material Control Job Instruction Breakdown guides.
- Will assist the manager and chief with cost performance as well as metrics throughout the organization
- Required to provide technical data to management and customers
- This person will also have the ability to assume management responsibilities in the absence of salaried supervision
This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of supply chain experience
- Knowledge of the Planning process as well as Artemis elements, Work Package Development
- Proficient with MS Office
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with abilities to trend data
- Candidates must be energetic, be willing to travel & have solid problem solving abilities
Preferred:
- Supervisor experience
- Experience managing work orders
- Experience using MRPII, EWP/PCM, and Artemis
- Associate Degree or higher
- Project management skills
