Overview
The Industrial Radiographer / Film Interpreter is responsible for performing interpretation of radiographs to evaluate weld quality, including evaluation of both pipe and structural weldments in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Primary duties include reviewing film in accordance with specification applicable for part and class; reviewing radiographic technique forms for completeness and accuracy; documentation and maintenance of records pertaining to any deficiencies and dispositions; provide customer audit support.
- Will contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards; develop solutions to complex problems; ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives; exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion in determining long-term goals, objectives and approaches to assignments
- Will serve as a consultant to management and external contacts; represent the organization on major matters pertaining to policies, plans and objectives; and be responsible for teaching / mentoring new analysts
This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI location. This is a second shift position - training will be done on first shift.
