GDIT is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer / Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, cloud services, and the ability to lead technical projects to deliver robust cloud solutions. This role will involve developing and executing the strategy for cloud adoption and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud environments.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Cloud Architecture Design : Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures on Azure platform .
- Cloud Strategy Development : Develop and implement a cloud strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures a smooth transition to the cloud.
- Automation & Optimization : Create and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
- Security & Compliance : Implement best practices for cloud security, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance with industry regulations .
Collaboration : Work closely with software development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions are integrated effectively.

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
