Technicianwill provide Onboard Maintenance Training (OBMT) to Ship's Force technicians in the operation,repair, maintenance, and logistics support of the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) variants AN / USG-2 andAN / USG-2B, including the CP-2702 / USG-2B Signal Data Processor (SDP), CV-4448 / USG Power DistributionMedia Converter (PDMC), C-12512 / USG-2 Data Processing Terminal (DPT), AN / PYM-7 Technician ControlDevice (TCD), TD-1477 / USG Time Code Generator (TCG), MO-23 / USG Environmental Controller System

Controller (ECSC), C-12513 / USG Antenna Environmental Control Unit (AECU), AS-4558 / USG Planer ArrayAntenna Assembly (PAAA), AS-4460 / USG Shop Board Active Aperture Antenna (SBAA), CV-4321 / USG CEPInput-Output Convertor (CIOC).

The Technician shall perform / provide support during shipboard Combat Systems tasks including Combat Systems,Command, Control, Communications and Computer Readiness Assessment (C5RA), Combat System PostAvailability Trials (CSPAT), Combat System Ship Qualification Trial (CSSQT), Integrated ComprehensiveMonitoring Program (ICMP), Total Ship Readiness Assessment (TSRA), Board of Inspection and Survey(INSURV) programs, and Tech Assist events. These efforts may require rapid results in a stressful environment inorder to meet ship’s mission requirements.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Candidates possess either of the following Navy Enlisted Classification Codes (NEC) : V39A - Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) AN / USG-2 Cooperative Engagement Transmission ProcessingSet (CETPS) Technician and / or V51A - CEC AN / USG-2B Technician including a minimum of two (2) years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of equipment within the scope of this NEC.

Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
