HOW A FORKLIFT MECHANIC WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Responsible for the proper repair and maintenance for a large fleet of forklifts and related equipment of various brands (predominately Raymond)
- Repair electric forklift / chargers, electric utility vehicles / chargers, electric pallet jacks, diesel engine drive forklifts, gasoline engine driven tug, and electric man lifts
- Candidate will possess capable mechanic skills to perform independently and without any immediate supervision
- Schedules, prioritizes, inspects and repairs forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, etc., determines within prescribed value range, when a major component, assembly is to be repaired, rebuilt, replaced or discarded
- Required to maintain forklift fleet and training vehicles, and prepares written estimates on cost and labor time for corrective repairs
