Job Description :
Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks including; but not limited to; lifting and moving materials up to 100 lbs.; loading and unloading vehicles and other activities in a helping or assisting means.
Must have experience using basic hand tools such as ratchets, drills, grinders, etc.
Must be able to perform other tasking under direction of supervisor.
Transports materials; tools; and equipment to and within work sites as required.
Follows established policies and procedures for VLS work.
Operates hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling.
Qualifications : US Citizen
Active Secret Clearance or higher
Must have high school diploma or equivalent GED
1- 3 years of directly related experience supporting warehouse, logistics, and / or media sanitization operations.
Required Skills and Abilities : Communication, Tradesmanship, and Hand Tooling
Preferred Skills : Forklift, Shipyard and Shipboard familiarity
The candidate may be required to wear steel toe footwear at times, and use sponsor-provided personal protective equipment (protective eyewear, face shields, gloves, aprons, respirators, and head protection) in conjunction with engineering controls and safety operation procedures.
