GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish / maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

HOW AN SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR I (C4ISR) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of systems.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network devices (to include cabling) for exercises, training events and / or special projects
- Configure and optimize systems to meet operational requirements
- Integrate various components and systems in a LVC environment
- Collaborate with other branches to ensure system compatibility and interoperability
- Implement and manage security policies and configurations
- Maintain documentation for system configurations and changes

- Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
- Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and / or customer personnel
- Serves as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced system administrator
- May serve as a technical team or task leader
- Follows DoD Directives and Instructions 8140, 8570-01-M, Army regulations AR 25-2, NIST Special Publications 800-53, 800-39, as well as following guidance from other cyber agencies in CSPMO, and NETCOM
- Participates in special projects as required
