HOW A Visual / Graphic Facilitator (Enterprise Architecture and Technical Vision WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Position Description
This position supports the Architecture Services Area to help define and execute the Agency's Enterprise Technical Vision and Roadmap. In this position you will be responsible for working closely with our architects to design and create various forms of media to communicate our technical vision. You will help with graphic recording / facilitation and support design meetings and Agile Release Planning Events to create graphics in real time by hand. After meetings conclude, you will iterate to create formal visualizations that can be shared to our program and customers.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work closely with technical SMEs to capture and design graphic representation of technical architecture and vision
- Provide graphical recording for Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), Release Planning Events (RPEs), and other design meetings
- Take hand drawn sketches from meetings and develop into more formal digital formats for wide distribution
- Facilitate group conversation and encourage collaboration to define innovative ideas, captures opportunities for improvement, and drive good architectural decisions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :
EDUCATION :
Bachelor's Degree in Graphics Design, Communications or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work / military experience.
QUALIFICATIONS :
10 years of related graphic design and facilitation
