Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess 10 years of related experience in storage engineering, including knowledge of NAS, SAN, fiber channel configurations, maintaining offsite replicated environments, Windows and Unix Environments, Virtual Environments, S3 Storage Applications, and Backup Applications.
- Requirements:
- Experience in backup applications (Netbackup, UNITRENDS preferred).
- S3 protocol storage devices (e.g., Cloudian).
- Business Continuity knowledge and support.
- Familiarity with Virtual Tape Environments/Libraries (e.g., Luminex), IBM Tape Libraries, and IBM Mainframe knowledge.
A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred. Strong analytical thinking and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
