The Red Lion Team is seeking a EHS Specialist II on First (1st) shift.

Summary :
Designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization's environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations " Responsibilities are within the Environmental Health and Safety Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties :
- Outlines and implements policies or programs to educate and promote employee health and safety or environmental compliance.
- Delivers training programs educating staff on environmental concerns or health and safety risks found in the organization.
- Communicates regularly with management and administration regarding the status of environmental initiatives.
- Ensures that training records, health / safety manuals or handbooks, incident / accident reports, or other documentation are appropriately maintained.
- Tracks and documents accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent future accidents.
- Monitors known health, safety, or environmental hazards, such as noise, air, or wastewater pollution levels.
- Coordinates inspection of facilities, vehicles, or equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations.
- Communicates facility-specific emergency response or evacuation plans.
- Has a broad and current knowledge of all government and applicable industry safety regulations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Associate's Degree
2-4 years experience
