A place where people will come and see how we MAKE things in our factory, CONNECT with us on creating new ideas and build things in our First Build maker space, while being INSPIRED by beautifully designed kitchens.Position Event & Marketing ManagerLocation USA, Stamford, CTHow You'll Create Possibilities Event Management : Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events & experiences, including conferences, training, product launches, tours & company-sponsored activities.Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines in alignment with organizational goals.Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, venues, catering, and other event-related services.Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality.Coordinate event logistics, including registration, attendee communications, and on-site management and set up.Analyze event performance and provide post-event reports with insights and recommendations.Marketing Management : Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote events and increase brand awareness.Create compelling marketing materials, including social media content, email campaigns, press releases, and promotional collateral.Collaborate with internal graphic designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality assets.Manage social media channels and monitor engagement metrics.Conduct market research to identify target audiences and refine marketing efforts.Measure and analyze the success of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.Collaboration and Leadership : Work closely with cross-functional teams to align event and marketing efforts with company objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners.Lead a team of students, freelancers, or volunteers to ensure seamless execution of events.What You'll Bring to Our Team Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.3 years of experience in event planning and marketing.Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets.Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with CRM systems and event registration platforms is a plus.Preferred Qualifications : Previous Consumer based Marketing experience with outstanding attention to detail.Previous Event management experience which includes both social and digital media.Demonstrated creativity and innovation when planning marketing strategies.Proven analytical skills.Our Culture At GE Appliances, creativity meets passion and conversations lead to exceptional outcomes and experiences.
