Job Description Summary
Advanced Maintenance Technician needed to support the production of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems at GE Aerospace. This is a hands-on role that requires electrical/mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively with others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment using Maximo software.
- Repair all production equipment as needed.
- Perform breakdown analysis.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards.
- Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology.
- Work with outside contractors on assigned line.
- Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 Years Industrial Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Experience.
- Ability to work effectively with others and communicate effectively with the team/management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Adherence to all ISO Quality Standards.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, etc.
- Professional technical training or certificate program in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or related field.
Work Environment:
This position requires work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling. The position may require weekend and/or holiday work.
