About the Job:
This job is about Growth! The Director of Finance is a growth-created position to oversee all financial and treasury aspects of the business, as well as drive company financial forecasting and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as financial investment cases, including Merger and Acquisitions analysis.
Things You’ll Do (Just a Sampling):
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
- Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
- Set targets and performance tracking for all portions of the operating business
- Manage daily cash, cash forecasting, and financing facilities to minimize financing costs and support agile company action
- Prepare timely, accurate, and useful reporting on business operating performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Analyze to make forecasts and report to upper executives
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
Things You’ll Need to Qualify (No Fudging Allowed):
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
- Established experience as director of finance or a similar role in a smaller, high-growth operational business is helpful
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and forecasting
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP)
- Excel beast; IB/PE-level Excel skills desired
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
- CPA or other relevant qualifications is a plus
