POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for someone who will have hands on responsibility for maintenance of the equipment, building and grounds. This is a day shift position working 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday with supervisory responsibilities of one day shift and one afternoon shift employee. Overtime may be required on Fridays as needed for special projects and during peak production months (late fall/winter). This position involves a thorough knowledge of the machinery, building and assembly/production lines. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, team oriented, reliable, trustworthy and enjoys working on continuous improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Equipment inspection and maintenance
- Maintain and improve Preventative Maintenance program
- Building inspection and maintenance
- Grounds inspection and maintenance
- Inventory of maintenance supplies
- Scheduling repairs and improvement projects
- Supervise two direct reports
- Continuous improvement
- Maintain 6S organization
- Follow safety protocols
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent training and experience
- Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry and Welding
- Machinery maintenance experience
- Understands fixing things the right way and not a “temporary fix”
- Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals is a plus
- This position uses maintenance software to track PMs

SALARY AND BENEFITS
