POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a motivated self-starter to learn in a dynamic environment. The production of General Filters products is industry specific, however, the Company is willing to train new hires on its processes and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, test, pack and load humidifiers, air cleaners and replacement parts
- Inspect quality and notify team leader if discrepancies occur
- Operate media pleating machine
- Complete daily production slips and include all required information
- Maintain inter-departmental stock control
- Keep work area clean and organized daily
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Requires knowledge of basic assembly procedures
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Standing for extended periods of time with moderate repetitive lifting and bending
- Ability to work in an organized, clean, fast paced environment
- Reliable and able to follow procedures for making quality product
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The position is full-time and permanent. The working schedule Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am – 4:30 pm. Friday production is on an as needed voluntary basis during peak season which is generally the fall and winter. The position offers a competitive hourly wage with 7 tiered increases in the first two years based on length of time in the position. Annual performance reviews, discretionary bonus and profit sharing.
