REPORTS TO: Plant Manager

FLSA STATUS: Salary Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support all plant production operations:

Production

• Drive efficiencies and process improvement
• 6S Organization
• LEAN manufacturing

Maintenance

• Preventative Maintenance program to keep equipment in top condition (Ensuring PMs are kept up to date)
• Support maintenance department with production equipment repairs when needed
• Assist with other maintenance functions when needed

Inventory

• Cycle Count management & discrepancy investigation (Interact with various departments as needed to resolve inventory discrepancies)
• Annual physical inventory coordination

Continuous Improvement

• Productivity and process improvement experience
• Organization of warehouses and production areas
• Documentation and ownership of SOP’s to support efficient operations

Production Scheduling

• Assigning team to work cells on a four 10-hour day schedule (Mon-Thurs)
• Special Order scheduling
• Daily production job assignments
• Overtime scheduling when needed on Fridays

Personnel

• Team building & morale
• Incentive systems and morale booster programs

Safety

• First Aid/First Responder
• MSDS/Right to Know Training

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with team members from all departments and respect the contributions of all individuals
• 6S and Lean manufacturing experience
• Building and machinery maintenance experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package, maintenance software and ERP Software (Epicor preferred)
• Hands on, self-starter, and self -directed with the ability to wear many hats in a small company environment
