Job Summary:
Sales Analyst is responsible for growing sales of products manufactured by General Formulations to distributors and/or businesses and industrial establishments throughout the assigned territory. General Formulations manufacturers pressure sensitive adhesive films used throughout the Sign and Commercial Graphics Industry.
In this the role the Sales Analyst is responsible for accurate quoting for all products and offering creative solutions based on the needs of the customer to capture every possible opportunity. The person in this role will collaborate closely with the sales and product management teams to analyze pricing structures, review programs, and provide valuable insights to drive profitability by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
SALES PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION
* Own the quoting process and supporting the sales and product management teams by creating quotes for all products in all market segments, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and adherence to company pricing strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, sales, product management, and purchasing, to analyze pricing structures, profit margins, and cost factors.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends and opportunities for optimization.
* Provide sales forecasting, data analysis, and performance metrics to support sales strategies and decision-making.
* Identify areas for process improvements and product constructions to nurture more opportunities and profitability.
* Collaborate with sales and finance departments to monitor and manage pricing, discounts, and promotions.
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure data integrity and accuracy in sales systems and processes.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact sales operations and profitability.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of sales management experience. Relevant job specific experience may be taken in place of degree.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
