Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and solicit new business opportunities.
- Understand customer and prospects needs to accurately submit specifications into estimating. Monitor the quoting process to provide estimates to the customer in a timely manner.
- Evaluate prospects needs and identify if fits Spartan’s product offering.
- Identify key buyers and decision makers within the organization.
- Introduce Spartan’s product offering to potential and existing customers. Assist customers in building the best product for their application using knowledge of substrates, printing processes and design structure.
- Be present and available during customer press checks and tours. Assist Account Managers to build best possible relationship with customer.
- Work with an attitude of professionalism and integrity with customers and fellow employees, keeping in confidence all information about our operations, customers and management practices. Maintain yourself and your office environment in a clean, organized and professional manner.
- Maintain an attitude of constant learning and improvement to benefit yourself professionally and benefit the company.
- Follow all safety standards, both in the office environment and when present in the production facility.
Qualifications:
- Must be motivated to grow company business using consistent and creative strategies.
- Competent in Microsoft Office. Detail and sales oriented, able to multi-task, with good working knowledge of offset, screen and digital printing and an understanding of prepress requirements, finishing and fulfillment.
- Position requires a person who is organized and is able to gain confidence of print buyers in markets focused on retail, consumer packaged goods and advertising agencies.
