Monday - Thursday four 10 hours days. Friday-Sunday off!!

Job Role:

· Work in a safe manner, wear proper PPE, and follow all plant safety policies and report all injuries immediately no matter how minor

· Inspect each unit according to General Glass quality standards

· Properly clean, perform preventative maintenance, and trouble shoot any issues related to the Forrel IG line

· Complete understanding of all products, paperwork, drawings and labels pertaining to IG department

· Trouble shoot any and all quality issues

· Continuously keep machine full and communicate any issues that prevent this from happening

· Ensure all paperwork working is properly filled out

· Effectively work in a team setting

· Maintain good communication through the use of radio, verbal, and documentation including hand off between shifts

· Follow all plant policies and procedures

· Brainstorm way to effectively improve process

· Maintain equipment, report any needed repairs to department supervisor and record in operator log

· Train at other IG positions to maximize department versatility

· Over-Time required to meet business needs

· Other duties as assigned
