JOB SUMMARY
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the daily management and supervision of a pool of product line employees in our Education Division which they use to ensure appropriate staffing levels for GHR clients. Staffing Specialists are responsible for hiring, performance reviews and appraisals, staffing and scheduling, disciplinary action, and termination of assigned field employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Manages all contacts and correspondence with client facilities in an assigned geographic territory, including but not limited to :
- Provides outstanding customer service
- Confirms schedules with clients daily, verifying filled and open shifts
- Requests additional needs, including per-diem, temp to perm, and perm
- Maintains accurate client contact information
- Notifies management of any changes at the facility
- Markets available employees to clients for potential needs
- Identifies trends on client usage
- Fosters client retention
- Manages all correspondence with employees within assigned territory, including but not limited to :
- Provides outstanding customer service and employee relations
- Confirms schedules and availability daily
- Maximizes employee availability
- Promotes all available shifts within an employee’s area
- Learns and tracks employee preferences and availability in order to schedule at appropriate facilities
- Negotiates pay rates based on facility assignments
- Requests additional availability from every employee on a consistent basis
- Maintains accurate employee information
- Notifies management of any changes in employee status
- Identifies employee trends, learns and understands what employees do when they are not working for GHR
- Manages employee performance issues, including facility DNRs and tardiness. Clinical mistakes should be brought to manager’s immediate attention, so appropriate action can be taken
- Attains performance evaluations for those assigned employees that work consistently with the same client
- Markets available shifts to employees
- Fosters employee retention
- Adds to the number of employees actively working and increases the number of hours being scheduled within the assigned territory
- Recruits new employees by continuously utilizing available tools and resources, including but not limited to : referrals, internal data base, job boards, cold calling, and social media
- Provides weekly reports of individual progress based on goal achievement
- Supervises any assigned Junior Staffing Specialists, preparing them to be elevated to Staffing Specialist
