DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be knowledgeable of event menu items and their content, appropriate table settings and service ware, and the correct preparation and garnishing methods.
- Set all bars up per BEO (Banquet Event Order)
- Wash all glassware and utensils after each use
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks per drink recipe guide book
- Pour all wine and beer to proper amount shown
- Use jiggers at all times
- Collect payment and use cash register as needed and if BEO requires you to do so
- Check identification of all customers to ensure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products
- Practice ServSafe at all times and ensure we serve no guest over the influence
- Clean up after all guests throughout your shift
- Clean the entire bar and work area after every shift
- Arrange bottle and glassware to enhance the look and display of the bar throughout and before the end of the shift
- Serve customers in a friendly and courteous mannerJOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous serving experience is highly desired, but not required.
- Must have a ServSafe & Liquor permit to be able to serve beverage at our facility
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40-50lbs on a daily basis
- Must be willing to work late night and long shifts without a break
- Must not ever advertise for gratuity
- Must be able to be on your feet for a long period of time, 90-100% of the shift
