Reporting to the COO, the Product Manager will play a crucial role in providing data-driven insights to support the development, optimization, and success of our managed IT services. The Product Analyst will work closely with senior management, marketing, sales, and operations teams to gather and analyze data, track performance, and help shape our product strategy. This position is essential in ensuring that our products meet both customer needs and business objectives.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze product performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for product improvements and new opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance, customer satisfaction, and market adoption.
  • Vendor Management: Identify vendors best suited for inclusion in the Company’s offerings, negotiate competitive pricing and work with legal to ensure that contracts are maintained.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor products and industry trends to inform product positioning and strategy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update the COO and executive leadership on product performance, risks, and future opportunities.
  • Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyze customer feedback and operational feedback to inform product improvements and identify areas of concern.
  • Product & Service Portfolio Maintenance: Maintain product and service catalogs, including but not limited to ensuring that all SKUs are current, and data hygiene is maintained.
  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and market opportunities.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and through ongoing optimization, including managing product roadmaps, timelines, and feature prioritization.
  • Product Roadmap Support: Collaborate with product managers and the COO to support the development of the product roadmap and align it with business goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various departments (engineering, marketing, sales) to ensure data accuracy and consistency in reporting and decision-making.
  • Reporting & Presentations: Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the COO and executive team, providing data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and successful go-to-market execution.
  • Consistently demonstrates “Can Do, Will Do” attitude.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex accounting problems with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to accomplish difficult tasks with minimal oversight and maintain a consistent level of accuracy in all assigned areas.
  • Ability to solve multiple and complex challenges through critical thinking and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to formally present findings and solutions to difficult accounting problems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Capable of identifying business risks and process inefficiencies, and a proven ability to execute process improvements that leverage systems and automation.
  • Excel skills and PowerBI and Power Query a plus

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, computer science, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of accounting, finance, operations and/or product management experience at an MSP preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing the day-to-day operational needs of the product
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an executive presence, and proven ability to present and explain complex accounting issues to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment and willing to “roll up your sleeves”.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage in fast paced environment, and often with competing pressures on one's time.

Education, Certifications or Experience are all preferred but not required for consideration.

Travel

Position may require infrequent travel.

Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, Paid Time Off, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
