We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician based in Spain to provide services to our customers, requiring computer knowledge, electrical and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently.
This position involves international travel throughout Europe, with opportunities for additional countries outside of Europe.
The ideal candidate should possess the ability to perform installations, training, and maintenance repairs.
This is a permanent contract-based position with onsite training at General Inspections headquarters in Davisburg, Michigan, USA.

Job Description:
- Test and repair machines at General Inspection and customer sites.
- Provide start-up and commissioning at General Inspection and customer site.
- Perform capability studies with sample parts from potential customers.
- Provide start-up, operating, and maintenance training for customers.
- Offer customers telephone and internet support for start-up, troubleshooting, and training.
- Sell company products for commission via upgrades/spare parts while working with existing customers.
Education, Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
We require:
• High School Diploma
• Valid driver's license
• Multi or bilingual abilities are desirable, but English is mandatory
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good customer relations, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience reading electrical prints and diagnosing electrical issues
- Must be able to use a digital multi-meter
- Mechanical aptitude is desired
- Experience reading part prints
- General proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge/experience in both computer hardware and Windows 10/11 software. Some Windows XP/7 is also beneficial.
