This position is responsible for assisting all aspects of the human resources functions which include recruitment, represent the company at recruitment events, build talent pipelines through university partnerships, and train hiring managers, processing payroll, maintaining accurate HR records, and managing recruiter relationships and invoices. Additionally, the HR Generalist oversees employee programs like referral bonuses, assists with employee relations, and promotes the GKWay culture through leadership and reporting on HR metrics. They contribute to HR projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance and fostering organizational growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Post job openings on the company website, job boards, and other relevant platforms.
- Coordinate and represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
- Screen resumes and conduct interviews for office and managerial roles.
- Develop and refine screening questions for recruitment processes.
- Manage requisition workflows to ensure timely and efficient hiring.
- Partner with universities to build talent pipelines through internships and graduate programs.
- Train hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and best practices.
- Manage Recruiter relationships
- Process recruiter invoices and ensure budget adherence.
- Oversee the employee referral bonus program, ensuring compliance and timely payouts.
- Serve as a point of contact for university partnerships, coordinating internship opportunities and campus engagement.
- Process payroll for biweekly, sales incentive, and bonus cycles.
- Maintain accurate employment records using HR management systems.
- Assist in employee relations, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations, with cultural and language sensitivity
- Promote and model the GKWay culture through leadership and example.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership regarding HR metrics and engagement initiatives.
- Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1–3 years of HR experience, particularly in sourcing, recruiting, and payroll.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
- Capable of transporting materials for events or job fairs.
- Must navigate GK facilities and travel to local schools or universities as required.
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check prior to employment.
Pay: $60,000 to $70,000 paid annually. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, geography, and internal equity.
