Roofer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing systems and materials, with a strong understanding of construction principles. This role involves working on residential and commercial roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Roofer will collaborate with other construction professionals and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials including Built-up roof, shingles, single-ply (PVC, TPO), tiles, and metal per manufacture specifications.
• Must be knowledgeable replacing plywood, fascia, rafters, and shiplap with proper angles.
• Perform heavy lifting (50 lbs.) and physical tasks, such as repetitive bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Effective team player that is self-motivated and willing to work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
• Will perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Deliver projects within a timeline.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of roofing experience.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices.
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights for long hours.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat when applicable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must Have

• A valid California Driver's license, no commercial license required.
• A reliable transportation to various sites for this position.
• Able to pass background check (for Public Work jobs).
• Have personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Have tools for trade work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
